Hosokawa provides size reduction systems and powder processing solutions for chemical, pharmaceutical, food, mineral, plastics and cosmetic applications. Throughout our history, we have led the industry in coarse to ultra-fine grinding, classification, mixing, drying, containment, compaction and analytical equipment

The Senior Field Service Engineer will support the Manager, Aftermarket Services with developing a best-in-class field service team. The role will assist with supervising the field service engineers/technicians for maximum productivity, customer satisfaction, service ticket fulfillment, warranty billing and quality servicing of Hosokawa equipment.

  • Supervise and support on-site customer services’ including installations, commissioning, process troubleshooting, and customer training on Hosokawa equipment as needed (this will include domestic and international travel as necessary)
  • Guide service team with solutions for advanced or escalated technical issues via phone and email
  • Verify that all work performed meets with company standards and manufacturers guidelines
    Develop into company Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide regular information to customers and feedback to management relating to customer concerns and equipment malfunctions/ problems for product improvement
  • Support the development of new service programs
  • Work closely with the Production department to identify and resolve inventory, cost, and quality issues
    Coordinate and conduct departmental training
  • Manage departmental budget as directed by the Manager Aftermarket Services
  • 10 years of industrial field service experience (3-5 years supervisory required)
  • Process equipment knowledge strongly preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in confined spaces/ heights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite- Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills required for internal/ external interactions with field service personnel and customers
