The latest alternative for lab scale fine grinding

SUMMIT, NJ – Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems will showcase the Mikro-Bantam® Mill, Model NGB (New Generation Bantam) at the International Powder and Bulk Solids Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL May 6-8, 2008.

The Mikro-Bantam® Mill, Model NGB was designed to provide an economical alternative for lab scale fine grinding. With an assortment of rotor options available, such as pin, rigid and stirrup, the Mikro-Bantam® Mill will certainly have many applications for any processing facility. This machine provides controlled particle sizes while grinding, blending and dispersing dissimilar ingredients. Once the mill is set, it will continuously produce exactly the same results without adjustments.

The Mikro-Bantam® Mill is ideal for dry and wet milling. It was designed to operate up to 17,000 RPMs and will pulverize materials up to ½” using a feed screw. It can process a wide range of materials, such as titanium, toner, sugars and spices, and scrap PVC. It is fabricated from stainless steel and can be used in sanitary processing.

The bearing housing is sealed for life with labyrinth and lip seals. The grinding chamber has a hinged cover for quick and easy cleaning. A small footprint, efficient operation, long production life and safety features make the Mikro-Bantam® Mill a must-see at the International Powder and Bulk Solids Show.
