Hundreds Visit Booth #2604 at Interphex

Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems’ new booth concept was met with praise and hundreds of visitors at the 2009 Interphex Pharmaceutical Trade Show held in New York. As many as 600 attendees visited and registered at booth #2604 showing that the pharmaceutical industry still demands high quality processing equipment from brands they trust.
For the first time, Hosokawa made a bold and unique decision to not bring equipment to show case. Instead, their pharmaceutical team designed and constructed an enclosed booth on their 20 x 20 foot peninsula section with 8 foot high walls. On the inside, the booth walls were adorned with posters of Hosokawa’s pharmaceutical grade processing equipment. On a large screen TV, Hosokawa presented recent online educational programs and used these presentations to explain design concepts for processing systems and technology.
“The posters represent a much broader view of our pharmaceutical equipment capabilities. They gave our pharmaceutical team much more to discuss with colleagues and prospective customers”, Rob Voorhees, Vice President and General Manager said.
“Plus no one at the show had ever seen anything so unique at a trade show. It really surprised most visitors and helped draw one of the largest crowds we have ever seen at Interphex”.
This year’s show left many visitors asking “what will Hosokawa do next year; how can you top that?” Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems has a history of attempting new and unique ideas, many of which have lead to the development of today’s most widely used and trusted processing technology.
