Hosokawa announces ACM webinar for March 4th

The Mikro ACM® Air Classifying Mill, the first milling system to incorporate an internal classifier, was invented by Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems in 1962. The Mikro ACM® Air Classifying Mill is an air swept mechanical impact mill with a dynamic air classifier designed to grind an extensive range of materials down to a D98 of 20 microns. The company recognized the growing demand for fine size reduction systems that could produce narrow particle size distributions that were required in many chemical, pharmaceutical, food and mineral applications. Over the last 60 years, Hosokawa’s has continued the ACM development to achieve enhanced performance and utility. The ACM has evolved into one of the world’s most efficient and high performance milling systems.

On Wednesday, March 4th at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems will host an online webinar focusing on this industrial workhorse. This webinar will review:

  • The history of the ACM
  • Operating principles
  • System design considerations
  • Wide range of designs & models available
  • Applications & customizations

This free webinar program is designed for all process engineers with size reduction applications in the Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical, Mineral and Cosmetic industries. The webinar will be about 45 minutes and conclude with a question & answer forum. Please register soon – space is limited for this online program.
