Description
Hosokawa provides size reduction systems and powder processing solutions for chemical, pharmaceutical, food, mineral, plastics and cosmetic applications. Throughout our history, we have led the industry in coarse to ultra-fine grinding, classification, mixing, drying, containment, compaction and analytical equipment.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining facility programs, maintaining equipment, building supportive systems, inspections, managing contractors, maintaining records, and other assignments as required.
Responsibilities
- Repair of all plant equipment
- Maintains and monitors facility systems including HVAC, air compressors, boilers, security system, and fire alarm
- Maintains safety policies and participates in safety meetings
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and maintains monthly records
- Maintains spare parts inventory
- Performs internal monthly inspections of various systems, facility, equipment, and grounds
- Assists with external local and state inspections
- Performs basic electrical, plumbing carpentry, and painting as required
- On call for facility emergencies, alarms, and snow plowing
- Supports facility related projects including but not limited to: office moves, equipment setup
- Assists service contractor as needed
Qualifications
- 2-5 years maintenance experience in an industrial setting
- Basic electrical, plumbing, and boiler knowledge
Education
- HS Diploma or GED
