Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer
Laser diffraction is a highly accurate method to determine particle sizes of materials between 17 nm to 2 mm. Hosokawa uses a variety of particle size analyzers to evaluate incoming feed materials and confirm end-product specifications. The Mikro Air Jet Sieve MAJSx is useful with materials from 20 µm to 4,750 µm, but when materials are finer than 20 µm (635 mesh), laser diffraction is the preferred method.
