SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Description
This position provides maintenance duties for the facility, grounds, supportive facility systems, facility infrastructure equipment, and production/ machining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facility equipment. Repairs include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, light masonry and carpentry, warehouse and loading dock areas
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance tasks including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections as well as record maintenance
- Maintains building structure and infrastructure support systems to include fire/ security alarms, building shell structure, roofing, parking lot maintenance, snow plowing, and landscaping
- Supervises a staff of two; delegates daily assignments and provides training as required. Maintain records of timesheets and vacation requests
- Interfaces with external contractors and inspectors
- Open and close building
- Overtime as necessary including off-hour emergencies
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of facility maintenance experience
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Must possess mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating/ air conditioning, air compressors, hoist, and cranes knowledge
- Familiar with machine shop equipment
- Light carpentry, painting, and office fit-out skills
- Licensed and able to drive company vehicles
- Certified to drive company forklifts
Education
- HS Diploma/ GED/ Tech or Trade Certifications
