Milling Rice on the an Air Classifying Mill
The Mikro ACM Air Classifying Mill is designed to refine various materials, from food ingredients, such as cane sugar, to minerals and chemicals like Magnesium Oxide and Powder Coatings. It is capable of reducing these particles to sizes as small as only 4 microns.
Refining Rice
In this video, you can see that a particle as large as rice, which is approximately 6 millimeters long, can be ground down into a very fine powder, consisting of particles no larger than 50 microns. Many mills would require the rice to be processed several times, through different machines, as one mill may not be capable of reducing the particle sizes so drastically. However, the Mikro ACM Air Classifying Mill is capable of breaking down those particles in one step.
The video also mentions many of the other features of the Mikro ACM Air Classifying Mill, such as a touch screen PLC, which can be used to monitor and operate the mill, a high air flow, which keeps the mill cooled and free of buildup, and a classifier, which helps ensure that the particles are the desired size.
