Position title
Asst. Tech Center Manager
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management and training of Test Center personnel through clear communication and specific direction
  • Manage scheduling and overseeing of all Test Center activities including tests and assignment of personnel under the direction of the Tech Center Manager in coordination with the sales department
  • Ensure all test equipment is in the proper configuration and in accordance with the schedule
  • Responsible (along with other team members) for reviewing Material Safety Data and Explosivity Data to comply with state and federal regulations
  • Responsible for the receipt and return of all test material back to customer (log to be maintained including material receive/ ship dates).
  • Vendor management and oversight
  • Manage the purchase of all Tech Center supplies, including uniforms
  • Establish and implement routine maintenance schedule for test center equipment
  • Participate in the Company’s product development initiative
  • Conduct Test Center tests as directed by Tech Center Manager
  • Ensure general upkeep and organization of the Test Center
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing similar operations
  • Knowledge of size reduction equipment preferred
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (mechanical or chemical engineering preferred)
