Filling & Weighing
Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems offers a total processing and packaging solution for powder and granule handling, from single pieces of equipment through to the design, manufacture and installation of complete filling, weighing and discharge systems for valuable, noxious or toxic products. With the resources to customize individual equipment and systems, we are able to build and install systems to meet the requirements of even the most challenging applications.
Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems offers a wide range of inflatable and extraction type sealing heads for fill/weigh systems. Designs are available to seal and fill a range of bags, sacks, drums, boxes with and without liners, IBC/FIBC’s and even supersacks. These devices can incorporate a patented pinch valve assembly for control of the product flow into the vessel below. This assembly ensures that weigh accuracies as high as +/- 0.1% can be achieved. In cases where containment of the powder is required, these systems can be designed to incorporate continuous liners or downflow and laminar flow booths.
