The mixing vessel is conical shaped and has a center rotor which rotates at a speed of up to 30m/s. The speed of the rotor creates centrifugal forces and pushes the product to the vessel wall. The shape of the vessel forces the upward movement of the product. The cover part guides the products towards the center of the mixer.

Temperature Control: Intensive / high energy mixing results in a temperature rise of the product to be mixed. For some applications, you can make use of this phenomena and it can agglomerate your product. For temperature sensitive products though, it can be difficult so it is of vital importance to control product temperature. The Cyclomix guarantees optimal temperature control at the spots where heat is generated, specifically, "between the rotor tip and the vessel wall." The jacketed vessel, cover and outlet valve enable you to control and manipulate your product temperature in an accurate and reliable way. The Cyclomix is the best choice for intensive mixing of heat sensitive products.
