Micron Denspack
The Denspack is a compact densification machine that de-aerates powders prior to the filling operation. The basic principle of operation is a rotating metal rotor in a housing that allows air to be drawn from the product as it passes through the rotating valve. Individual pockets capture the material as it falls into the valve and a vacuum is drawn to provide the densification of the product. When the rotor pockets reach the bottom of the valve compressed air is used to overpressure the pocket and discharge the de-aerated product.
