Alpine 400 CW Contraplex Pin Mill with cast stainless steel housing This mill has two rotating pin disc assemblies which when operated counter to each has provides a much finer grind then a standard pin mill. Both Pin Disc assemblies and the housing side gearbox has been rebuilt as well by HMPS Service Engineers. The stainless steel housing has been mechanically cleaned on both the internal surfaces and the external surfaces. This mill can be purchased “As Is” for your supply and mounting of the drive motors with special requirements. As an option, HMPS is fully capable of providing you with a mounting table engineered for your production needs as well of providing the motors. This mill would normally be provided with a 50 HP motor on the Housing side and a 30 HP motor on the door side. Maximum speeds would be 8400 and 4500 respectively. This mill with it’s wide design chamber is commonly used in the grinding of spices or other materials. Feed materials which exceed a Mohs hardness of 3 should not be considered for this mill. |
